This place is beyond amazing. The experience itself was breathtaking, you never realize how it feels to be so close to such amazing animals until it happens.
The staff at howling woods are incredible, you can see the passion all of them have for the wolves. They’re extremely well-informed and also care deeply about you respecting and understanding the boundaries and personalities of the wolves as well.
The animals themselves are extremely well taken care of, I’ve honestly never seen such happy little guys at any sort of animal reserve. They’re all lounging super comfortably (their huts even have AC, so on a hot day like today they all easily stayed cool) playing around in pools and with each other, digging and running about, following tour groups like little entourages, and and you can quite literally see how happy they are to be a resident at Howling Woods. Beyond just me having an amazing tour, I left truly feeling like this is a great place.

Couldn’t recommend this experience enough. They love the animals. There is a clear amount of consideration for which animals would like to participate, how they would like to participate, and defined boundaries on interaction. These animals are happy and cared for. Not exploited. I really appreciate that. Guides were very knowledgeable and everyone was super kind! We loved it.

OMG what can I say about this place...it was the best wolf experience of our lives. My daughter's life long mission and passion came to life that day on our trip. She has always wanted to touch a wolf and they made that dream happen and come true. They educate you very nicely on these terrific animals and you do get up close and personal with them. It was very emotional to see and hear all about them and their stories. The staff was absolutely amazing and really good at what they do there! We had the best trip worth the drive and day there ever. We will be returning again it was so worth the time and trip! You all ROCK and it is amazing to watch the passion you all have for these animals that need you and the help and care you provide. I am glad there are people out there that are willing to help the way you all do and to share this with the world and us people. Also, to educate us as we sure need it so one day this stops happening out there where people stop using these animals for pleasure when they can't control them. THANK YOU!!!! Sorry, after reading other reviews I just have to add here...the staff and that includes everyone including the person(s) answering the phones and sitting at the front desk, are the best and we have never had an issue getting a return call or great service. They were all terrific and accomodating to anything we wanted. Of course you must follow the rules it is for your safety and the safety of the wolves, and yes all this is made crystal clear on your website. You can't get more clear than that including the times, the age limits, the rules of dos and don'ts and what to bring and what you can wear crystal clear so again THANK YOU for everything!

This place is a Wolf Sanctuary, over here they have different session for them being that they cant all be together. It was a really cool experience to learn so much about them, how they live, think, and how amazing they’re. Definitely some of the most amazing and smartest creatures on earth. Samson the old guy was so adorable despite earning his name after ripping a door in half, pretty much when they’re eating their pray, the only part they don’t eat is the Jaw, other than that they chew on every single other bone, they’re compassionate and loving towards little ones, and care for them. Our group guide was amazing, informative and passionate about it, however we found out at the end that it was his first presentation, which we couldn’t believe. It kinda stared raining at some point, so they kindly let me use a spare jacket they had, they also go by a suggested $20 donation, which is not bad at all, they have a gift shop as well. Glad to see so many beauties rescued. Btw some of them are mixed and adoptable.

Took my boyfriend to this place and we both had a blast! The staff was super friendly and Michelle who was our guide was very knowledgeable and very sweet. I already recommend this to all my friends. It's a great time, you get to see some wolves and pet them and take pictures with them. We definitely plan on going back soon! Thanks for a great time! Also the money you pay is a donation for the wolves which is awesome!
