I went shopping for a lift chair and I stopped at Ace Medical Supply at the Shore Plaza on RT. 70 East in Lakewood, NJ. I wanted to purchase a chair that was in stock because I did not want to wait 2 to 3 months for delivery.

There were approximately a dozen chairs on display in the raised position. Jacob offered to assist me and said just lean back and press the “raise” button and the chair will do all the work! Let me know which chairs your prefer and we can discuss their features and benefits, he said. I sat in several chairs including a leather chair that was very nice and would match my leather loveseats at home. Then I sat in a cloth chair which extremely comfortable. It felt that I was being caressed by pillows no matter what position I chose.

Jacob gave me a catalog which clearly explained the various reclining positions and showed what colors were available. I prefer not to make decisions without thoroughly considering my options and asked Jacob if I can have a day or two to think about it. Jacob replied that we are here to help you and when you decide, just stop by.

I came home and the thoughts of the comfortable lift chair came to mind. It seems that the chair with the hazelnut fabric, named “The Cloud” kept sending me the message, “Buy Me!”

The following day, I purchased the chair and asked Jacob when it will be delivered. He checked with Sam, the delivery man and installer, and advised me that I can have the chair delivered later that afternoon! That’s what I call SERVICE!
