(November 29, 2018, 2:14 pm)This is a very beautiful place. So many things to enjoy from hiking to canoeing. They have a museum in the ranger station filled with alive and stuffed native wildlife. The rangers are very knowledable about the area and history of the park.
(November 22, 2018, 7:07 am)I really enjoy this park. There are several hiking/running/biking trails with the longest loop coming in around 8.5 miles. Most of the trails are wide and easy. Some are a little tough due to sand. My five year old loves the play ground and you can rent canoes. The little museum has a lot of info about wildlife and the history of the area. Fishing in the lake is pretty good if you go at the right time. Also, WEAR BUG SPRAY! The ticks are serious.
(November 6, 2018, 2:34 pm)I love hiking here. Its so well maintained. The trails range from a nice stroll to full on incline trails. Remember to spray up with deet before u go!
(October 7, 2018, 7:25 am)Scenery around the pond is beautiful. The hike was a lot of trees and ticks. Lots of ticks. Trails are well marked.
