Amethyst's Beach Motel

This motel is well maintained and clean. The bathrooms in our rooms are newly renovated. For the price, I think it was a nice deal. The location is great. No shampoo and conditioner- so byob. Parking at a per day charge of $18. I would definitely stay again.

Family owned for 65 years, this gem of a retro motel is a perfect location on Point Pleasant beach, close to everything. The owners are fabulous- even gave us an upgrade to the apartment when checking in because we booked 2 rooms for our family. Kids loved the pool. The coffee and muffins in the morning was an extra delight. This family cares about their customers.

Great Location!!! 1 block from the beach / boardwalk. Staff was super friendly! Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was renovated. We didn’t use the pool only because we are beach people, but it’s a cute area. We will definitely be back!!!!
