“It's a great place for a lot of reasons. The manager, Christian, is the bomb. He really upgrades the whole visit. The skinny on some of the good stuff: It's one block from a great beach. They can often get you free beach passes. It's got an excellent if small heated salt water pool. It's two blocks from a sunset-mecca bay. They have both regular hotel rooms and efficiencies with a little cook top, microwave and decent size fridge. Also, it's a pretty quiet, family oriented, clean area of the Jersey Shore. Yet it's close to the frenetic and carnival-like area of Seaside Heights if you want to visit. This worst part is there is no separate outside smoking area, so sometimes you get gassed with secondhand tobacco. But it's pretty wide open with a lot of breeze, so it's tolerable most of the time. In the end, is an excellent value for your dollar. I'd recommend it.”

“Small park on the North end of Long Beach Island with some basic amenities and the main attraction, ole Barney the lighthouse. The lighthouse is open to the public and can be climbed to get a great view of the Island. There is also a small museum that provides a glimpse into the life of the lighthouse keepers of yesteryear. There is also a small trail around a representative barrier island forest. Parking is free. There is a small information center, picnic tables, and public restrooms.”

“Beautiful, peaceful location. Quiet, laid-back environment. Super comfortable beds! Al and Christine are sweethearts. Loved the room, the hotel layout and the lobby. The fishing photos & the history behind them on the lobby walls are wonderful and Al and Christine are good people. We absolutely loved the ice provided OUTSIDE - easy access to everything. “Went this evening with a group of 11 for our cousin Christmas dinner and our server Danielle was phenomenal. We never had to ask for anything. The food is top rate. I think what is best to do is get a rice or noodles for each 3 people to share and get a little bit of a few things and share. The portions are perfect for sharing. We ate and even had leftovers. Fantastic place to eat and enjoy yourselves...We did!!!”
