Bloomingdale Day Care And Nursery

Our girls were in the pre-K3 and now pre-K4 class. They look forward to school and love their teachers and other students. The girls surprise me with the new things they've learned. We've had a great overall experience.

My daughter has attended BDC now for almost 3 years. She started in January of 2020 (pre pandemic) so we have been at the center throughout the various changes - pre and “post” pandemic and for the shut down (when renovations took place). We have nothing but wonderful things to say. We were welcomed by very caring staff from the very beginning. As an anxious new mom, I sat in on the infant (Seeds) class before my daughter started to ensure we felt good about things. The infant teachers were very nurturing and treated all of the babies like their own. I felt comfortable leaving my baby in such good hands. During the height of COVID when all schools shut down, BDC renovated the whole inside. We return to a freshly painted and clean environment. Jorge is the new owner and he is very kind and receptive. Miss A is the new director and she has taken on the challenges and is working hard to improve the center every day. Our daughter has been through several of the classrooms and all of the teachers and staff have been wonderful. We are due to have another baby soon and will definitely be enrolling him or her at BDC when my maternity leave ends. I have and will continue to recommend BDC to anyone looking for affordable and good child care! Thank you!

I admit that we were little bit skeptical when we were browsing on the net for day care for my son from a reason that It was not a new building and looked little outdated. But we were positively surprised from the very first step we took in this establishment with warm welcome and the energy we receive from every team member. Oh boy we were wrong. We love it! But the most important is that my son loves it! It was new experience for him and he had hard time on the start as most of the kids, but everyone took effort for my son to overcome this adaptation period. Now he enjoys it and we are so happy!

Our son has been going to the summer camp for about 6 weeks now. We decided to pull him from another local daycare. He was withdrawn, anxious, bored and never was excited to go to school. That is until he started Bloomingdale Day Care- he loves this place! He waves every time we drive by and say hiiiii camp! He comes home everyday with projects(his old school there was never anything sent home) .We get pictures uploaded on the app and he’s always smiling and having the best time. The teachers greet him with excitement in the morning and he walks out of school with a smile on his face. They listen to his needs and have patience and understanding. It’s finally a relief to have such a great place he can go. He starts Kindergarten in Sept. and my husband and I always say how we wish we would have switched sooner. If we have more children we will most definitely be sending them here! What a gem! I can’t say enough great things!

Teachers/staff are amazing with the kids. My daughter has been going since she was 3 months old, and will be heading to kindergarten in the fall. Thanks to the excellent curriculum, I think she is more than ready to make the transition to elementary school!
