Kindred Hospital New Jersey - Wayne

I came here on a respirator with the goal of having it removed with the best of care. I was able to have it removed and recover quickly and better than expected. The facilty was kept very clean and the staff, nurses especially, were even more wonderful than I expected. I highly recommend coming here but hope you never to!

Let me start off by saying THANK YOU . Our mom was in the ICU for over 4 weeks due to Covid and was placed on a ventilator. Once she was stable , she was transferred to Kindred to begin her journey to recovery . From the moment our mom arrived , she was greeted with care and compassion . Everyone from the doctors , to the nurses , wound care nurse , respiratory therapists and all of the admins have been nothing but compassionate, respectful and showed courtesy to our family in regards to our mom’s care . As a family we would meet in the hospital parking lot to be near our mom and say a prayer everyday . I asked nurse Susan where her room was located and she advised that it was facing the highway . But , nurse Jennifer took it the extra mile and placed sticky notes in the window so that we would know exactly what room our mom was in . We appreciate the Facetime calls and the daily updates . Our ultimate goal and what we prayed for the most , was for our mom to be able to leave Kindred off of the ventilator and thanks to Kindred she did ! As our mom’s journey to recovery continues at a different facility, please know that the staff at Kindred Hospital will forever be in our prayers .

The staff at Kindred are very helpful, friendly and passionate.
They also provided excellent care for my love one.

This is an amazing place to work & bring my kids! Staff here to truly"change the outcome". Everyone works hard to resolve issues and take care of what's most important...kids.I have to say as an employee that if you have even the smallest need...let someone know. We will do everything possible to accommodate that need!
