  You don't often give someone a five star review for NOT delivering service, but that's what Tom gets. I burned some unseasoned wood and had a strong smoke smell lingering for a couple weeks; looked up past our fireplace damper and saw some crud, so I scheduled a cleaning. We had just purchased our home and I was worried that, even though there had been a recent cleaning, the other guys had done a bad job.
  
  Tom came out, took a look up the flue, and told me it looked great. To quote him: "We could charge you a hundred bucks to reach up here with a broom and vacuum up some dust. I'd love to sell you something, but you don't need a thing. Call us in the spring after the season and set up a cleaning then."
  
  My jaw basically hit the floor - what guy would take the time to make a house call, look at your situation, and say "it's ok, I can't honestly charge you for that." Most people would at least be mad that you wasted their time. Tom was honest and good natured and he's made me a customer for life by doing the right thing.
  
  All that, and his prices (at least for cleaning) are better than most competitors.

  Tom did an excellent job replacing my liner and also helped arrange a mason (who was also very good) to properly rebuild the top which was badly deteriorated - all at a very competitive rate. Highly recommended!

  Tom installed a new stainless steel chimney liner. Done in a half a day, and the result is beautiful. Could not ask for more. Thank you!

  Tom is a true pro and such an honest man! We've been using them for several years for various chimney/furnace related jobs: damper installation, flume relining, chimney inspections and cleanings. Always on time, always the best quotes, always an excellent work. Outstanding professionals, pleasant workers and very good at keeping communications clear. 5 stars all over!

  I have my chimney cleaned yearly. This year I called Tom from Chimney Pros , Wayne, NJ. Tom arrived at the scheduled time. Tom offered an extremely professional service. He was very thorough with his work. His prices were honest and nearly half of what I paid in the years past. I would highly recommend Chimney Pros to anyone in the Bergen / Passaic NJ Area.
