  I have been a patient of Alpha Counseling, as well as my two daughters for about 11 months . The staff and owners and therapists are all wonderful! I am truly satisfied in the caring loving and kind demeanor of everyone who works there! I am very thankful to Joe, my Therapist, who also sees my oldest everything from scheduling, to insurance to counseling sessions has all been a pleasure! I would recommend Alpha counseling to everyone! I have had experience working with several of the therapists for my youngest daughter who are also very talented and helpful One of them is Rebecca and the other one is Rachel they are wonderful! Also Joe has been such a help to me! Thank you Leonard and all of the staff!

  Leonard Pikaard and the staff at Alpha Counseling are amazing. My family and I have worked with Leonard, Allison, Joe, Rachel, Summer and Dr. Anderson, all are extremely compassionate, easy to talk to and will go the distance for their patients. Alpha Counseling has helped my family in so many ways. Too many to list. I would highly recommend this group.

  Dr Anderson is wonderful, patient, and the best psychiatrist I've been with. She actually takes time to know her patients and listen, rather than the quick 15 minute how are you. The real star of the show is her office. Their text line so amazing. They respond quickly and they are kind. I had a lot of issues with my insurance and the office worked with them to get me the help I needed while keeping me up to date on what is going on. They really do make me feel like I'm the only patient in the office which is a 180 from my previous doctors offices. Overall best experience with a mental health professional and a doctors office.

  Alpha Counseling reached out to teachers this past year offering much-needed counseling services! I was promptly matched with a counselor who is supportive, empathetic, and provides me with tangible skills to improve aspects of my life. The office’s texting line is very convenient and they were able to answer my billing questions quickly. Alpha Counseling has been so helpful to me and I am grateful for the services they provide!

  Alpha Counseling Services is a top notch professional in their field. In addition to being a caring practice, their psychiatrist, therapist (Joe is the best) and office staff have been great to work with. We are very happy with the communication with their office staff, scheduling appointments and their handling of insurance. Their team has years of experience and their direct approach, make them stand out in an overwhelming sea of practices in Northern New Jersey. They have invaluable resources for information.
