Solid Part 141 school. Flexible scheduling about two weeks out. Timely communication & alternate planning in place for those borderline go/no-go weather days. Hangers located on site so planes are frost free & ready to go during winter months. Bought an intro flight on Groupon, passed my private pilot checkride four months later. Highly recommend short final, rwy two four
I tried other schools in the area and really liked sky training. Tim helped me register for my student pilot license right away. I'm extremely happy with the pricing compared to the competition. My CFI Sabastisn is extremely profesional and a great teacher. I highly recommend sky training.
I bought the discovery package. Tim, the owner, was super nice and accommodating. The instructor, Stephanie, was also very knowledgeable and made, what would have been a very nervous experience, quite an enjoyable one. I'd highly recommend them for a first flight experience and lessons. Can't wait to get back in the sky!
I started my flight training elsewhere (when I was away in college) but trained here whenever I was home from college and after graduating college. Owner/Manager Tim has a great sense of humor and he, and the instructors were very serious about students making progress towards the pilot license. My most recent instructor prior to checkride, actually made sure I was ready for a checkride before I was ready to hire Peggy, the FAA examiner (who has 50+ years of flying experience herself), to examine me. Upon receiving my pilot license I continued to be a customer of Sky Training for aircraft rentals as well as when I fly with an instructor for biennial flight reviews.
Additionally, the Greenwood Lake Air Show is awesome.
