I have been visiting Mama Estela’s probably 2-3x a week since I discovered them while shopping down in Bridgewater. I have tried nearly everything on their menu and have never once been disappointed. My go-to order is chicken tacos, but I also really enjoy their quesadillas and burritos. I especially like that they use pulled chicken, rather than diced (this makes for PERFECT quesadillas). Pro-tip: their guac is fantastic, be sure to try it on tacos sometime. Also, they are great with allergies and dietary restrictions. No nuts are used in the kitchen and their beans and rice are vegetarian.
Service is great and everything I’ve ever ordered has been ready in under 10 minutes. Make sure to check their Instagram @/mama_estela_foodtruck to ensure that they are open before heading to Bridgewater or trying to place an order. I would also recommend calling in orders ahead of time so you don’t have to wait. Their phone number can also be found on their Instagram.
My only hesitation when ordering from them is their use of styrofoam, which isn’t very sustainable.
Fresh, high-quality ingredients make these recetas caseras some of the best I've ever had! I happened to be going to the shopping plaza by Costco and saw their truck. I am sooo happy I stopped by!
Mama Estela serves a variety of authentic Mexican street food and other household recipes: burritos, tacos, flautas to name a few. Their food isn't "americanized" in any noticeable way. Their hot sauces are homemade, and amazing!
They're new (and killing it). All foods are homemade and not store bought, except the sodas (they sell jarritos btw), down to the bean, rice, and tortillas.
I ordered two quesadillas (steak and chicken) and birria tacos. Wow! All of it was great, flavorful & perfectly portioned, but the birria tacos!!!! That was my first time having birria tacos, and I could drink a pint of the sauce they're served with.
I took a few pictures and definitely plan to be back soon! Apparently they are there M-Sa (off on Sunday), but I'm not sure of their times.
A must for Foodies! Fresh, crisp, loaded with true Mexican flavors! Wonderful selections and daily specials! Excellent prices! Friendly staff. Kitchen is immaculate! I bought lunch, had to go back and get dinner! RICO y SABROSO!
I'm always in search of new places to try my favorite food, tacos. I was so happy that I stumbled upon this food truck. Had the tacos of course and they were excellent. Fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned meat. Friendly staff. Highly recommend. I will definitely be back to this gem!
Im my opinion, good customer service is just as important as the food itself. I was greeted and tended to with much kindness and warmth. In my first visit, I tried the Birria tacos. Absolutely mind blowing how good these tacos are. The pork was very tender. The cheese was hot and stretchy and the cilantro and onion was fresh fresh fresh. The “consumé” (birria pork broth) was amazing and super flavorful. And as you can see if the picture, the taco shell was fried golden and crispy. It added that awesome crunch to the taco. Their hot sauces are most definitely homemade and they add such a nice kick to the already awesome birria tacos. I HIGHLY recommend this hidden gem. I’ll be back for more… very soon :)
