I.L. Peretz Community Jewish School

This is a Secular Jewish Sunday school for children whose families are looking for a non-religious Jewish education. They teach literature, history, cultural awareness of the Jewish identity for kids from 3-13. All the major Jewish holidays are celebrated in a secular way, including the high holidays, Hanukkah, latke making, Passover, etc.
My child goes happily every Sunday! Much more affordable than traditional religious programs.

My children attended the Sunday school at Peretz from 2009 to 2018. The school is a great place to learn about Jewish history and culture and, like us, there are many families from mixed ethnicities and diverse family structures. Everyone is made to feel at home here. The school (and larger Peretz community) stresses the students responsibility to help make the world a better place to live in, and there are many holiday ceremonies and celebrations, including the very popular (and free) outdoor high holiday ceremonies. My children are still members of the Teen Group, and our family is still part of the Peretz Community.
