Dr. Pappert is the most knowledgeable dermatologist regarding Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Such empathy toward the pain and comorbities of the disease. Willing to see me immediately if needed for emergencies such as cellulitis and kenalog (steroid) injections. As far as reaching the office it can be a bit difficult. I always tell people to make very nice with the front desk staff and the office manager. Ask even the doctor to give you a better number to use to contact the nurses if this is the only trouble you had with the place. I love Dr. Pappert.

I accompanied a patient to a visit with Dr. Pappert who was seeing her for an extreme case of bullous pemphigoid (autoimmune disorder). Dr. Pappert was incredibly knowledgeable about this disorder and very confident in her medical treatment plan. She thoroughly discussed the disorder (what is is, what to expect, treatment options, course expectancy) as if she had no other patients waiting for her. And if that wasn't enough she showed the patient an amazing level of compassion for the pain and discomfort (and anxiety) she was feeling. I cannot MORE HIGHLY recommend Dr. Amy Pappert and the whole somerset staff!
