“I have been trying to locate records through this department for the last two days. I have been bounced around from department to department and haven't been sure who I'm talking to is the correct person. I've asked for information regarding time frame, fees, how they would be sent (fed ex, USPS, email, fax). I asked for information and was given none. The matter is time sensitive, so even a guess at time frame would've been helpful, along with how this would be sent, as I stated above. I spoke with an officer who, when my frustration came threw with the situation said " I wouldn't raise your voice at me, I'd start right there, don't do that"". My question is: what is going to happen I'm frustrated, my voice raised? Is this going to go slower because of that? I am BSN/RN x 10 years and on to a Nurse Practictioner shortly. I am well educated and do quite a bit of educating with my patients. I would not handle any situation the way this has been handled. A small bit of information goes a long way and would avoid further phone calls from folks like myself. I told the officer this and she stated "You want a time frame, how about a week?. This was stated after she told my issue was through the courts and she had no idea how they handled things. However, she was quick to give me a week time frame. This is not ok and people should not be treated this way.”

“I love the D&R Canal Lock 11 area: it is easy to access the canal path, but if you just want to kick back and enjoy the day, this area has some picnic tables and room for kids to run around. The rush of water over the lock structure is very soothing, and the area is well maintained. In addition to the park staff and water supply staff, there are a number of people who pick up bits of trash to keep the place clean. At one time in the not too distant past there were Porta Potties and a Lunch Truck at the parking lot, but, sadly, these are no longer available. There are a number of very good delis and restaurants on Main Street in South Bound Brook, should you want to grab a bite to eat. I might also mention that the trash bins that had been here are no longer around: please be considerate and pack out your trash. The Lock 11 area is the northern most reach of the Delaware and Raritan State Park on its eastern side (the feeder side, along the Delaware River goes further north). As such, if you choose to venture forth from the Lock 11 parking area you will always be going south. If you head West, toward Manville, your trip will be over 3.5 miles. There is an almost unbroken run without interruption of traffic. There is one steep section for those on foot, a spillway about a half a mile from the parking area. The westbound section is moderately scenic, and parallels Canal Road. Be aware of the area across the canal and river just east of the confluence of the Raritan and Millstone rivers there is an eagle's nest, and it is quite impressive to see these magnificent birfs. Heading East, toward New Brunswick, it is about 1.5 miles to the next (5 Mile Lock) parking area. This is not as scenic as the westbound section, but offers more solitude and is a bit easier to walk. The Lock 11 parking area allows easy drop in for kayaking. The path is mostly crushed stone, so hiking, running, etc. are all perfect. I have found it best to cross over the small bridge from the parking lot to the path before putting on cross country skis, as the rocky surface of the parking lot can be tough on skis. I do use this lot to start a day of fishing. Both the river and the canal offer a pleasant day's fishing adventure. I would implore my fellow fishermen to clean up their mess: I frequently find wrappers, containers, and bottles left behind by inconsiderate fishermen. Enjoy your day here!”

“I find it hard to believe that only unsatisfied people have posted a review on this site. I had a very positive experience at Urgentmed. I went there on a Saturday since I thought it was a walk-in emergency office (due to the name on the building.) Unfortunately it was my misunderstanding. However, even though I did not have an appointment and it was almost 11:00 and the office closes at 12:00 the receptionist was very considerate and was able to fit me in. I found the staff very professional and efficient. They were able to get my previous lab report from my internist using the RWJ portal system in a very timely manner. They took a very complete medical history and prescribed the medication that I needed. The prescription was called in immediately. I would definitely recommend this medical practice. However, make sure to have an appointment before you show up. I was extremely fortunate that they could accommodate me without an appointment.”

“I have an old car that runs perfectly but whose paint was oxidizing badly. I figured why not repaint it. Johnny did a full repaint job and threw in an extra new bumper to boot so the car would look great all around. Car looks fantastic and I expect that the paint job will last. Two thumbs up.”
