Dr. Paul I. Abend, DO, F.A.A.P.M.&R

I'm a mom of two and had an emergency issue with my hip. I couldn't walk or function and needed immediate care. Dr. Paul Abend adjusted his schedule and saw me that day. He listened and treated me with care. Within 24 hours I was feeling better and able to function. Now I'm fully recovered and so thankful to know I can count on him in the future if need be.

Both my husband and I have been patients of Dr. Abend and Dr. Mejia and have been extremely pleased with the care that we have received. Both Doctors were very caring and sympathetic to our needs. I have recommended my sister who was also very happy with the care that she received. The office staff are very professional, caring and pleasant to talk with.

I was referred to Dr. Abend from a friend who highly recommended I see him and I have been very pleased. He is very professional and takes time with me to explain everything, never rushed in and out. Each time I have been to his office it has been a pleasant experience as his staff is always very nice and never have to wait long periods for an appointment. He has helped me feel much better since going there and I would recommend him to anyone needing help with pain.

We've had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Ronald Brown.
He was told before his appointment to stop taking his medications, as it's told to every patient that has injections. He's been in previous times and was aware that he must stop taking his medications. It's up to the patient to follow through with the given instructions.
Ronald Brown was verbally abusive to all the staff members, which was by no means necessary when trying to help him resolve any questions or concerns he may have had. He was unhappy paying his copay. That is terms we abide with, the patients insurance. He is well aware that a copay must be paid, for services rendered. Other medical offices have informed us of how verbally abusive Ronald Brown is and they refuse to have him as their patient. It is fully understood why they haven chosen not to practice with Ronald Brown as we do.

I went to Dr Abend for shoulder pain and he and his staff were very friendly. He is very caring and thorough and will answer any questions you may have. I got a cortisone injection that day and the pain subsided almost immediately. It was a very comfortable atmosphere, all concerns answered and an overall good experience.
