Smokin' Mo's Southern BBQ

I come up from the city frequently to visit family and always look for good food joints. Smokin’ Mo’s did not disappoint. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. The BBQ was fantastic. I got a full rack of ribs and was lucky to catch them on burnt ends today. Delicious. Side dishes like the corn bread and slaw were lovely too. Nothing too sweet, lots of flavor. A must stop!

Walked in to Mo himself playing guitar, and received quick service. Faster than fast food! Mo had made a burger assuming one of the many teens in our group would order it, but nobody ordered one so he offered it to us for free. We were going to bring it back to the group at the campsite but once we opened the lid it became quite clear that the burger was not going to make it that long. Everyone had a few bites of it and all agreed it was one of the best they had ever had. The meats themselves were all tremendously good, with the brisket being the fan favorite. The loaded fries were also delicious. They were super accommodating to our picky eaters. Everything was a very reasonable price with incredible quality!

Authentic Southern BBQ in North NJ, my prayers are answered!!!
I can't wait to go back, fresh homemade sides, perfectly smoked meats and the exact amount of homemade BBQ sauce. Try their Brunswick stew with a slice of cornbread 😋 and the smoked Mac & cheese . If you want burnt ends call ahead cause they sell out fast

Nice BBQ spot along a great drive in the heart of Sussex County. I came here with my wife and friend the other day which they really enjoyed the food. Brisket sandwich was good, felt like it was missing something, but honestly was overall a good decision.

This new business is going to thrive here in Sussex county. I tried all of the meats offered so far and they all knocked it out of the park. The owner was very nice and we had a small conversation. 10/10 business owners. the beef brisket is the best i’ve had. I’ll be coming back here very often. This place was just what we needed.👍🏻
