Mitch's Roadside Cafe

Highly recommend the ‘roadkill’ hotdog. Mitch is a very friendly and sweet guy. Strike a conversation and you won’t regret it!

After a nice hike, we stopped for lunch at Mitch’s. The hotdogs were delish; great selection of toppings with awesome roadside views. Seating areas with umbrellas are nice and clean. We’ll definitely be back to support this proud-American, Veteran owned business.

I haven't been to Mitch's place since 2019, but I'm sure he is still the coolest cat on the planet and still serves the best dogs as well!!
I stopped there on my way to my tutoring job to try every hot dog on the menu. All awesome, but watch out for the spicy onions!!!

Make Sure To Stop and Get Yourself A Roadside Dog Before You Start Either Trail! Absolutely delicious and the owner is a veteran! Probably one of the best hot dogs I’ve had hands down! Proud to be American!

Love going to see "The Hot Dog Guy". I'm thinking the majority of his customers are hikers on the Stairway to Heaven but what a great local place too! Mitch is always upbeat and loves his customers. What a pretty place to sit and have a dog!
