Im from a single parent home and my father passed away suddenly from covid19. He was 61 and I was 31. I was lost and confused and inexperienced at handling death since I've never been to a funeral, let alone planning one. I was lucky enough to have found Marie Baio at Petruccelli Funeral Home.
Marie Baio was sympathetic, professional and knew exactly how to approach the situation. She informed me that my dads Medicaid may qualify him for a government paid funeral service (especially during the pandemic) and helped me navigate the process for the next few days for the body to be transfer from the hospital to cremation.
