I had several back, neck & shoulder surgeries awhile ago & I started getting severe pain, back to the doctors with just getting cortisone shots & meds. But no relief!!! I decided to go to see magalys who only treated me twice, I had a headache non stop for months, pain all over & after the first visit my headache was gone, she really takes her time, tells your everything she’s doing & makes you feel comfortable & is very friendly, my second visit she went above & beyond & did some extra work on me besides acupuncture and I’m telling you the next day I felt better then I have in months & that’s only 2 visits!! I have had several health issues, both physical and mental, since 2011 and Magalys helped me with each and every issue! Magalys performed acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, and provided excellent nutritional consulting. I have implemented every suggestion Magalys made and at the age of 51 I feel better than I did when I was in my 20s! For example, my current pulse rate is 56 bps, which is just as good, if not lower, than when I was an athlete in peak shape at the age of 22.

Magalys’ practice is called Acupuncture & Holistic Healing Center and what she does is truly HOLISTIC. I made several calls to other Acupuncturists and ‘holistic’ centers in the Westfield, Scotch Plains area and the Acupuncture & Holistic Healing Center is the only practice that has a nutritionist (Magalys), who knows nutrition from the Chinese Medicine perspective like other practices, however, unlike other practices Magalys is a certified nutritionist who knows Western nutrition as well!

The other amazing thing about the folks at the Acupuncture & Holistic Healing Center is their timely response to calls. During my search for a practice, it took some practices up to four days to get back to me after leaving a voicemail, and one still has not called me (going on six days now).

I cannot say enough good things about Magalys’ talent, expertise, knowledge, and patient care. If you are remotely thinking about an alternative to Western medicine I HIGHLY encourage you to visit Magalys and the folks at the Acupuncture & Holistic Healing Center in Scotch Plains, NJ; you will be pleased with the results!!

♥️ This place. Magalys is knowledgeable and really takes care of the entire person. She did a thorough history, gave me a detailed treatment plan of what she was going to do to help me. she then gave me things to do at home to help myself. Kind woman who helped me tremendously.

The Acupuncture and Holistic Healing Center is truly a place of healing. The staff is kind and professional, and Magalys is gifted. She takes time to hear and understand my health concerns, and then treats accordingly. I have benefitted from acupuncture, cupping, and herbal remedies. I am grateful for her practice.

Absolutely LOVE Magalys! She and her staff are very warm and inviting. She has helped me in so many different ways. From quitting smoking to childbirth. When I was a week over due with my first child I came to Magalys for acupuncture and within 12 hours my daughter was born. I can go on and on. But the bottom line is I would and do, HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for help beyond traditional medicine come to see Magalys.
