Briant Park

Beautiful Oasis in Summit. The wildlife has really taken over during the last year or so with sightings of cranes and many more deer than before. It’s a gathering place for those looking to reconnect with nature. Soon to be connected with a trail through the woods along the old railroad.

Happened upon this park by random. Very very nice. Loop is rather long for a little park.Very nice up and down. Nice setting. Saw a white tailed rabbit and a deer.

Everyone walks, walks their dogs or runs in one direction with and without masks. Even though, it's clearly marked that mask should be worn. The people are VERY friendly to everyone. There is a para course for the physically fit and the pavement has both short and long courses to take. The hills might be too much for the elderly but there are many benches for you take breaks on. The restrooms are port a potties and the gazebo must be nice to hang out to eat but you need tables and chairs to sit on. Lovely pond with geese and ducks. Bring a picnic lunch and a blanket for a peaceful afternoon.
