  I went her to get my wife's sewing machine fixed and this was the closest place to my job.
  It was easy to get to but the storefront is rather nondescript and you could easily miss it.
  The man working there was very knowledgeable and before writing up the word order tested the machine and told me what was wrong right away. I really appreciated that.
  He finished the repair in 1 day which was great!
  The only reason thi review isn't 5 stars is that the price for repairs is steeper than I expected, and I could probably get a newer machine on eBay for the same price. However, I wanted this one fixed, not to buy a new one. And for that I say this is definitely the right place.

  I took my treasured 1950's Singer here (inherited from my grandmother) after it started skipping stitches and I was unable to put back together something I took apart. The knowledgable and charming store manager, Valerie, immediately got to work. In addition to troubleshooting and fixing the problems, she also cleaned out some mechanisms, gave me excellent tips on using the machine, and was able to replace the old lightbulb that had burned out (that I hadn't been able to find anywhere else). I was out of the shop in 30 minutes or so, with a machine that was functioning perfectly. The cost was about a quarter of what I would have guessed (and I was afraid I might have to ship the machine off somewhere for repair, which would have been extremely expensive). I am thrilled that if I ever need help with my machine, I have such an excellent nearby resource.
