“The thing I like to do here is drive up to a parking spot under a tree and eat in the shade. Good spot to twist one up too.”

“Nice for little kids (5 and under). Has two gym sets - one for smaller kids (which also has a wheelchair access ramp) and one for bigger kids. Two giant flower water skaters help cool kids down (watch for the mud as the drainage is not well done around them). Missing one star for bathrooms - wish there was one closet to this play area.”

“Now this is a very fun place secretly hidden and a cut of Scotch Plains lies a gem ever pretty Park. They have a variety of different rides in gadgets along with spouting water as well. This is a place where all ages of the family can go with little kids and older kids especially on hot days to cool off. This place feels really safe for me and my children and my family's children as well. I have lived in Scotch Plains for several years and have never new about this park up until this year. The park is clean there is plenty of parking. The Park is open and you can see a lot of space surrounding the park as well. This this park was really well put together with children in mine. I actually had a good time myself when we took the kids to this park swinging on the pole that looks like an umbrella which is tall enough for an adult. Also the ground is made out of that rubber East off cement looking like track material so all of the running around will not hurt your feet or your children's feet. And almost feels as though I'm walking on a giant tar mat. If it feels as though if I were or my children were to fall that no one would actually be hurt or scraped up by asphalt or cement and rocks as the turf that they laid down is very soft and bouncy. I am extremely happy to have found out about this part and would like to share my pleasurable experiences in this part with everyone. If you have small children this is the great place to take them. If you can't go to make it to a pool or a water park during the summer months you can definitely come here and let the children get wet as they have the spouting spring shooting up out of the ground so it will be impossible for any children to drown. The park is not really huge but it is a decent size and large enough for plenty children to run around play you on many different swing sets and monkey gems. There are also benches around for the parents to sit around. I am so pleased with this place I can't wait until next spring to bring the kids by for a visit. The hardest part was getting the children to leave the park because they were having so much fun it was almost impossible to pull them away. However after tempting them with an Icee from Rita's it made it a lot smoother for me.”
