“The Star is part of the Cape Resorts empire - so if you arrive on a week day you can check in at the main desk of Congress Hall. They have different sized rooms. Ours was quite small and cozy - on the 3rd floor of the main building there (The Star is really two buildings). Everything is as it should be - clean and pretty. House keeping checks on you twice a day - once in the morning, and then once in the late afternoon in case towels need replacing and beds need straightening.”

“This place was awesome. Beautiful, quiet. Reasonably priced. Very clean. Our room had a Refrigerator ,microwave and Keurig. Swimming pool, at night time they have lights inside of the pool that change color from blue to green to purple to White beautiful. Great front desk service. If you are looking to get away from the loud noises of North Wildwood and Wildwood this would be the place to go. I'm so happy I found this place. They also have a breakfast and lunch "restaurant " inside.”

“After reading the mostly positive reviews, I went to Doo Wop during what is still considered the off season so there was no wait, and they weren't extremely, busy. With that in mind - service was good, friendly and fast. They have some interesting breakfast options. I indulged in the Churros french toast, which was very good. I also had an omelette, which I asked to be well done. It was made perfectly, without being burned. The home fries are more of a hash, than home fries.....but still very good. I would have like some turkey bacon, which they do not carry. Only pork products. Justin, If you haven't already looked into it, maybe you could try the card payment system called Square. You can do point of sale using a tablet or phone and they claim to have low rates. Had I not read the reviews before, I would not have known to bring cash. Also....I did find some of your responses to other reviews a bit concerning....but some people are just trolling, so I would advise that you not give everyone a response as they may just be trying to get a rise out of you.”

“Red Store is the place for brunch in Cape May. Great atmosphere, excellent service and outstanding fresh food - what's not to like. Red store is located few minutes from Lighthouse and makes for a great destination after visiting lighthouse and surrounding area (park, hike, beach). It's also convenient when biking Cape May. We biked most of the day and after hiking and climbing lighthouse - we were starving and tired. No energy to bike back to main strip of Cape may - we stopped by Red Store. Food was top notch - from fresh granola and yogurt, to outstanding omelettes, to delicious quiche. Brunch selection and quality is top notch. Their freshly baked goods are delicious. They also have a nice gelato selection. Don't miss it if in southern part of Cape May or at lighthouse. You'll regret not trying Red Store”

Donuts were of regular DD quality and taste. Prices were what you expect for boardwalk food.”
