“Not all heroes wear capes…and then there is Carmen. I frantically called Tranquility Design Studio earlier today after a botched haircut at another salon left me with “layers,” specifically two layers, that looked so disjointed it nearly put me in tears. Carmen calmed my nerves, and approached this fix-job with the same level of precision and focus you see when Yo-Yo Ma plays the cello or Gordon Ramsey prepares a steak. I expressed concern that I was loosing so much length to my normally very long haircut, and Carmen did an incredible job keeping as much length as she could while repairing a truly horrible cut. The salon itself was clean, beautifully designed, and Carmen and the other stylist whose name I didn’t catch were friendly, professional and great at managing my stress. I ended up having a great time, despite the chaos with which I entered the salon. I loved how my hair turned out, and I will seriously never let anyone else cut my hair again – this woman works miracles. (This is the first Google Review I have ever left, which hopefully says a lot about the quality of Tranquility Design Studio!!)”

“I came to Jade with significant heat damage to my hair - like at least 5 inches of bone straight hair in the front, especially on the left side. Jade knew just the right products to properly nourish my hair back to health while doing my silk press and highlights. Due to her knowledge in different hair types, she knew exactly how to handle my fine, curly 3c hair and my hair has gotten HEALTHIER with Jade managing it now. Here's a current pic to show the same left side of my hair when wet - It no longer has 5 inches of damage (she didn't cut it all off, just regular trims). The other pic shows what my hair looks like straight with the highlights. My hair is in much better shape with Jade. I HIGHLY recommend her services. She truly puts love into your hair.”
