I went to Albuquerque Hearing & Balance on the east side. The staff was professional, courteous and friendly. My audiologist was Caitlyn Gentry, she put me at ease, was friendly, kind, and very informative. I left there completely satisfied. I give it five stars.

I went to the east side Albuquerque Hearing and Balance after going to two other hearing centers, to be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. I was so pleasantly surprised that I really felt I should share my experience.The staff were friendly and professional. Unlike the other centers I went to I was seen by the doctor, Dr Leah Fry, for the entire exam and consultation.
In other center I was tested by one person then seen by a divot and then seen by a third person who recommended which hearing aid I needed. Dr. Fry did extensive testing that included tests that had not been done previously. She explained the results and at every juncture asked if I had any questions. After I was tested and discussed several different hearing aids, i was ten fit with devices we chose that we felt was best for me. Dr Fry explained in great detail what to expect when I used them. I was most impressed that she explained how my own voice would sound different and that things might sound like I was in a tunnel for a bit. If she hadn’t I might have thought the hearing aids were not working properly. She taught me how to put the aids on, and make adjustments. The fit was perfect, she showed me how to change the filters, how to clean them and how to pair them with my phone. I couldn’t be happier. I was close to tears when I realized I was hearing things I’d been missing for years. As I said at the start of my review, this wasn’t my first hearing center but it will definitely be my last. I wouldn’t trust my hearing to anyone else now. Dr Leah Fry at Albuquerque Hearing and Balance is by far the best, most professional and skilled Dr. I could have wished for.

I now have better hearing than I've had in years. It's great to hear people talk to me and not have to ask them to repeat what they're saying. Great place!
