“My experience with Harvest church was such a refreshing surprise a few months ago. I was in an extremely difficult situation and went to the office, spoke to the woman that runs the office who was absolutely kind and nonjudgmental as I explained to her what was going on, and that I lived very close to the church. She and the Pastor both went out of their way to help me and my family that day, along with one of their parisheners who happened to be there. They have no idea what that visit meant to me in more ways than I can say. If you're looking for a warm and friendly church on the west side of town with no room for anything but love and acceptance, this is the place, a church that really practices what Jesus was about.”

His longevity is a testimony of his faithfulness to serving God; but also God's faithfulness to Pastor Herbert. My wife and I heard a very convicting message on "Growing in Christ" when we attended this morning. “So, this is a recently planted Independent Baptist Church with several friendly families attending services regularly. As it is new, there is a need for new members who are willing to roll up their sleeves and be Christ's hands and feet in Tijeras. They preach from the KJV and sing hymns straight from the book, just like when I was a kid. Heads up, Sunday School has been hit or miss depending on leadership availability, so if you are a visitor on Sunday, plan on arriving for the main service.”
