We were delighted with the option for him to attend on campus a couple days a week, with the carefully planned procedures to promote safety. Escuela has created an inviting outdoor work space, and he comes home energized from his two days at school. We have also been pleased with the improved online platform that I feel is easy for a child to navigate. With a hybrid system, he is able to turn in his work in various ways. That is, he can work in his notebook and show his teachers what he has done when he returns to school. One more thing, I really appreciate that the Escuela administration gives families the opportunity to fill out surveys related to school preparation and continues to seek parent input as we navigate these waters."”

The teachers care, and the school has high academic standards while also maintaining support for struggling students (or those transitioning from less demanding schools). The bonds we formed with the other parents taught me a lifetime of teamwork. Parent Participation is a wonderful concept. Did you Serra was one of the very first and vanguard for other Parent Participation schools? It's not for everyone, because you have to be involved. I am still on PTA boards, for our grand children's schools, a direct result of my days at Serra.”

“This is a good school. Most teachers seem to be good. We have been here a short time. Vice Principal is approachable and my experience with her was good. My daughter likes the school. The PTA functions are great. It has a good "Community" feel to it. The school is safe and organized. The expectation for the children to succeed is high. Communication with the school is good. As far as Teacher/Parent communication, it has improved, but started out a bit shaky. Office staff has always been helpful and friendly (and most of all good to the kids) Looks like they may have received some bad press in the past (about a year ago). Due to something personal that was not handled well. Hope the school learned from that experience. That should not reflex the education of our children.”

“They took care of my son while he was attending janneth k school couple years ago, move my son to a diff school but I totally recommend this day care, april and her cousin are very nice!! Everyone else is nice and friendly too now am thinking about getting my 2 yrs old in the day care for couple hrs, this is the only place I trust to leave my little one!! I know they will take good care of him. Forgot to mention they are very organized and very clean!!”
