“We had some furniture reupholstered and repaired this summer by Action Furniture: - Reupholster 8 dining room chairs - Repair the broken arms on one dining chair - Repair several dings in the wood and refinish the entire dining set (slate and hardwood with a cherry finish) - Repair and refinish a broken antique pine bet set (clear finish over "honey-pine" stain). They did a magnificent job filling the dents and matching the stain and finish on the wood. We cannot see the repairs, and the finish is better than new! In addition, they are terrifically nice people. I cannot recommend them highly enough.”

“This is an okay Walgreens location. We just came for some snacks, sodas, and Bronkaid. The pharmacist was very kind and I don’t know what everybody’s complaining about, but I guess it all depends on who you get and which day you go. The one thing I don’t like about this location is that there were no shopping carts and I didn’t see a single customer with a shopping cart. I understand theft issues with the carts and baskets, but not having something to put items in makes it a little inconvenient to shop. It’s still a good Walgreens and we will probably stop by there again if we’re in the area, despite the shopping cart and basket issue.”

“My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Trudy since early September. She’s kind and gentle with her, which is spectacular because my daughter, like most kids her age, hates to be corrected. She thinks she’s already perfect. Trudy can take something that can be embarrassing (like singing publicly) and turn it into something fun and light. She has great ways of explaining things and silly ways to make things more fun, like the tongue stretches (hysterical to watch, not so much when you’re the one doing it!). Thank you Trudy for helping my daughter to be able to laugh at herself when needed and take herself seriously when necessary.”

“This review is long overdue. After a botched attempt at refinishing our floors by some random that our dirtbag contractor hired, the original wood floors in our house were nearly destroyed. We called Bruce to see if he and his crew might be able to salvage them, expecting to have to pay an arm and a leg. Not only were Bruce and his crew able to save our floors, but they did it for less than the general contractor was going to charge us. Bruce and his crew were amazing, incredibly professional, and worked some sort of magic to be able to save our 70-year-old hardwood floors after the carnage that had been inflicted upon them. That was 3 years ago and we're still amazed at how good the floors look. Please, if you have a wood floor that needs to be refinished, call Benchmark first.”

One side of the facility is all unopened board games that are for sale while the other side is a dining area with many of the same games opened and available to play. “Buying shoes here changed my life. I know that sounds dramatic, but it's true. My feet and knees hurt so bad, then I came here. The gentleman (I forgot his name) was so patient with me. He answered all my questions and absolutely no pressure. He helped me put on my shoes (I have a hard time bending down) and made sure they were a perfect fit. The shoes are reasonably priced. I spent about $150 for some with springs (sounds a little pricey but I expected to pay a pay more) I still have pain, but now I can at least function and join family for various functions. Highly recommended I won't buy shoes anywhere else”

I had to get the oil changed in my rental car (never use Dollar Rental by the way) and they said they'd only reimburse up to $60 (again, NEVER use Dollar). Nathan and his team were extremely kind, helpful, and understanding. They worked with me to change the oil in a timely manner and keep the cost under $60, so I'd get reimbursed. If you're in the Alamogordo area, I highly recommend using Martin Tire for oil changes and other car needs.”
