I never expected so much quality and quantity of beautifully restored aircraft in this out of the way place. I restored antique planes for a good portion of my life (generally much older than WWII warbirds) and can appreciate the dedication and fine work done here as well as the rarity of some of these planes. I personally wanted to drool all over the beautiful black P-38. If I wasn't retired it would be an amazing place to work. They also have an excellent gift shop. Go there. You won't regret it.
Really cool place to see really cool old planes. They allow you to climb up on some to see the cockpits! They have some helicopters, cars and motorcycles too. Go support and check'm out! Cool gift shop! 🎁 🛩 🚁🚗🏍
This museum was much larger than I expected. I planned to stay for a could hours, but could have spent twice as long here. There are some neat planes, and if you are into vehicles or military stuff, you'd probably love this place. The old commercial airliner whose interior is open was fascinating. A little pricey and out of the way, but cool experience.
Had a great visit there with my Wife and 5 year old son. Highly recommended.
The only thing that was a bit shocking was the price!
I have a brochure for their that looks fairly current and it stated 11 dollars for Adults and children were free.
Well it cost us nearly 50 dollars!
I didn't complain because I don't mind seeing it as a donation, but needless to say when you expect to pay 22 dollars and pay 50 it was quite shocking!
Also their website shows no admission price.
Great place to visit! Even if you're not a history buff, there's so much to see and appreciate. There's historians roaming around if you have any questions. There's A LOT of cool cars too! Highly recommend. It's about $15 per adult. Took just over an hour to experience the museum, however, we did not go outside as it was too cold. I regret not going sooner.
