Juniper Steakhouse

Elegant and delicious steakhouse inside the Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel. Bar was busy, martini was awesome and generously mixed. The steak was huge and prepared Medium Rare as ordered. Excellent wedge salad and loaded baked potato rounded out the well prepared meal. Such a nice surprise to find an upscale restaurant offering a nice variety of meal (seafood & vegetarian) options and nice wine list by the glass. Service was superior!

Delicious food but they wouldn’t let me sub out mashed potatoes. I don’t like mashed potatoes and they remained completely untouched on my dish. A nice restaurant like this should allow substitutions.

Food was excellent, you get what you pay for. I especially enjoyed the lamb chops and the avocado tempura. What really made this a good experience was the service. Cindy was our waitress if I remember correctly. Very attentive, top notch. Ambience was good too. Would definitely consider returning for special occasions.

Had Dinner on Mother's Day, my wife and I enjoyed our special night. 3 course meal was excellent. Our dinner and wait staff were excellent. Thank you all. Don't mind spending money on a good quality meal.
