Very nice with lots of character! The doors are clean with wide roads making for easy maneuvering into the pull through campsites. We really enjoyed the covered picnic tables. That was a very nice touch. We also liked the concrete patios covered with AstroTurf.
Much of the year this area is hot. The campground has some trees and every site has its own adobe structure over and around the picnic table. Adobe naturally cools the space, making these sites pleasant. You will need AC to be comfortable at night half the year.
Location is super nice for a city park. Convenient to I-25 but not so close as to be compelled to listen to freeway noise. Just off 550, so at front of park there is street noise. Next door to Bosque Brewery, the Rio Grande, and Coronado State Park. Give this place a big fat plus for each. Bosque Brewery is a fine place to eat and try local brews, sitting outside watching the river, and sunset, depending on time of day.
Nice campground just north of the hustle & bustle of Albuquerque, NM. Good check-in. 50-Amp and 30-Amp sites with water, no sewer but a dump site available. The water connections seem to be on the opposite side of the pad (electric on one side/water on the other.) A 25-foot hose is helpful. Separate tent sites with their own bathroom/shower building. Beautiful "adobe-style" picnic table covered structures, all painted with individual designs! Sites mostly level and pull-thru. Flush toilets/showers available and WIFI. Quiet. Clean. Reasonably priced. Close to a Cabelas and REI.
Wonderful campsites near local attractions. We stayed here 3 nights in May 2021 - this is a beautiful campground. We had 50 amp site with water. Dump station on the campground. The sites are level and the wifi was good. Wonderful location to go to both Santa Fe or/and ABQ. We found lots of dog friendly hiking nearby.
