Wildlife West Nature Park

Much better than the ABQ Zoo. Most of These animals were rescued from private owners so the coyotes, bobcats, mule deer, elk and ravens approached us and we got to have a close up look. We went last summer and this winter and both times it was so much fun! The only difference is that in the winter, the black bear was hibernating. However, all the other animals were there and had many had beautiful winter coats. I will come back again!

We really enjoyed our time here. We were traveling through in our fifth wheel and they are part of harvest host. So we were able to stay on their large property just 30 min from Albuquerque.
The owners and the staff were accommodating and friendly!
The zoo was really well kept. You can tell they really are taking care of the animals. I highly recommend coming and bringing the family.

Awesome park. Great for families, and a wonderful place to see God's creation. The wolves were great and Velcro the doe-eyed mule deer (☺) is a sweetheart.

It was awesome. We are Harvest Host members so we were able to stay on the grounds overnight. The park is great and it is evident that they love the animals that have been rehabilitated. The animals cannot return to the wild so they provide a home for them.
