The only place I feel comfortable bringing my vehicles to. Honest people, quality work, fair prices.

Vince and crew are the best I have ever dealt with. As a woman I know I will get fair and honest treatment here.

I've had miner work done and they were professional and polite.

    These people are utterly fantastic!

I drove in from Chicago in an '05 G6 with over 160k miles on it and sprang two leaks; one in the oil filter housing gasket, the other in the right side master brake cylinder. The filter housing gasket was an easy enough fix for me to do on my own, but I couldn't quite squeeze my chest past the frame to get under the car, and of course, my jack stands are back in Chicago. So, since the master cylinder leak was a repair for which I'd have had to bring the car in anyway, I figured, screw it, I'll just start looking for a shop that would take care of both issues.

Well, financial situation in a fairly abysmal state, I started Googling mechanics in the area, reading reviews, etc, and I just couldn't make up my mind on where to go. I needed it to be reasonably cheap.

So, the same day, I'm driving up 47 to go by my sister's house, and I see Rio Communities Services along the way. I swear to you, something in my gut told me that this was the place to go. Once I got to my sister's place, her boyfriend overheard me telling her that I was thinking about going there and interjected with "They're a great place, great mechanics, and they might be a little on the pricey side, but they're good honest people, and they'll take care of you."

I didn't like the "pricey side" part, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to get an estimate.

Long story short, they quoted me $250 for parts and labor on fixing both leaks, an oil change, and the replacement of my rear calipers because they were shot. I was floored. Same repairs up in Illinois would have cost double that amount. They were a little backed up and unable to get to me for 2 days, so they refilled the master cylinders, topped off my fluids and asked if I would mind coming back on Monday. No problem. I wondered if they were still going to honor their original estimate because I'm used to the scheisters back home who tell you one thing and charge another, but these folks amazed me.

In fact, they did not stick to their original estimate; rather, they charged me $12 less than originally quoted.

My baby's running great, they treated me more than fairly as far as I'm concerned, and I will absolutely be returning to them if I have another mechanical need. I don't know why nobody's written any reviews on them anywhere else, but I'm happy to write this one because they deserve to be recognized for outstanding service.
