Son of Egg

Address: 418 Madison Ave, Albany, NY 12210, USA

Restaurant

“The small restaurant is a typical location of the Lark Street area. A few tables spaced apart. The hostess/server was so charming and friendly. She answered all of our questions about the cuisine. You can eat here inexpensively but we wanted to try a little of everything. Great flavors and decent portions. Just be aware of parking. They seemed to be doing a great takeout as well. I was sad that my homemade lemonade slipped and fell out of my hands 😔 Even bought a "Son of Egg" little wool hat for my granddaughter 🧡”

“Glad it was open but pretty standard grocery store. I was there in a pinch and dealing with cold. Got some decently priced items. Nice to have grocey options.”

A Touch Above, Inc.

Address: 160 Myrtle Ave #77, Albany, NY 12202, USA

“Our windows were pretty dirty and our regular cleaners said that they could not do our windows so I contacted A Touch Above and they were very responsive and professional. They did a great job on our windows. Very much recommend. They were a little delayed getting here but their office communicated with me that they were running a few minutes late and it wasn't going to hurt anything at all that they were a few minutes late. They did not take a long time to get the job done and they were thorough. I definitely recommend A Touch Above.”

New York State Museum

Address: 222 Madison Ave, Albany, NY 12230, USA

Museum

“What a gem. It's actually quite massive - we were there for a couple of hours and only got to see half. Maybe even less. The 9/11 exhibit is detailed and quite emotional- I couldn't even take any pictures. There are exhibits on various eras that are detailed and well documented. Even if you don't want to read so much, they are wonderfully well put together. You don't have to follow any chronology, but it's set up so that you can if you want to. Really well thought out and lets you really appreciate our state. Note: its free to visit. We did not have to reserve time slots online either. The people at the front desk are super helpful. Outside, there are some wonderful memorials as well, and the space is lovely, you can sit and reflect for a few minutes.”
