Recently, I joined CapCity CoWorks to escape the monotony of the work-from-home life. My touring and signing a private office lease went smoothly with the building administrator Melissa Martino. Melissa is always available if you have any questions and works hard to make sure you have everything you need. The views of Albany are gorgeous, the covid protocols in place make it feel very safe, and the amenities make it feel like home. Looking forward to spending more time at the office!
I love CapCity CoWorks. It’s a phenomenal environment where you can collaborate with other people, but at the same time you also have the privacy of your own space. There is truly nothing else quite like it in Albany. The amenities are phenomenal and the building staff does a great job with the upkeep. Oh and most importantly, the building administrator is FANTASTIC. She’s always available to assist with your needs. She’s on top of things and gets the job done. Which is extremely important when managing this type of work space. Couldn’t talk highly enough of her. If you are looking for a quality work space that’s well maintained and has top notch management, look no further.
I was working on an important, time-sensitive project for my client when my power went out. I searched for temporary office space and I was fortunate to find Melissa Martino at CapCity CoWorks.
Within the hour, I was back working in a quiet office with great views of the Hudson river and the city of Albany. Melissa was professional and responsive to my needs. The space was clean (as were the bathrooms) with amenities like coffee and snacks. The rent was very reasonable and I encourage others to consider this great addition to Albany.
Call Melissa, she won't disappoint you.
I leased an office for 6 months from 2019-2020 (pre-coVid quarantine). I liked the architectural details and the amenities (free water/coffee/tea/snack candies). The co office space was secure and you needed key fob access to enter. Each office had a lock and key. There is a laser printer/scanner/copier option and internet access residents and their guests. The location is downtown Albany with a nice view of the hudson river at the back and S Pearl toward the front. In each office, you temperature control heating and cooling panels in each office and each office had its own lighting. The vibe was mostly mature and professional where you could focus on work. The conference rooms were nice and they even had a lounge area where you could eat lunch, watch tv, and there was a beer tap if you need to have an after hours work event. Th process is an in person interview, an application, and you will need business insurance coverage, but it is good place to begin startup or to have a satellite office space. I found the office manager to be very responsive and empathetic to my needs/concerns.
CapCity CoWorks is a great working space. 24/7 access provides great flexibility. There are many work space options and layouts to meet a variety of needs. The added option of purchasing a monthly parking space at a discounted rate is also a great perk and is not nearly as expensive as many of the downtown parking options. It is clean and comfortable. Melissa, the manager, has been a pleasure to work with, she is very responsive and eager to meet the needs of tenants. I would highly recommend this as a co-working space.
