The staff is friendly. The food is great. Service is fast. Prices are good. What else can I say. This is truly a classic American diner and where I have breakfast every day when I am in Albany.
Super clean establishment on the top of Pearl Street. Delectable dining goodies!
I just finish eating at Pearl Street Diner, the diner was clean, very welcoming. The food was delicious, I had 2 large pancakes, 2 eggs fried hard, 2 link sausages and raspberry tea, I ate and drank everything, the waitress was very nice, I'm sorry I didnt get her name, but I blessed her with a tip.
This is a true American diner. The owners walk around and wait on customers, talk to their customers, and engage their customers to the point of total satisfaction. The food was absolutely first rate and we wanted for nothing. I had the “hungry man breakfast” and it fit the bill to the letter. In closing, this is a very refreshing husband and wife success story; that’s an enjoyment to see.
My feeling was strange: I felt inside a movie for the duration of the breakfast.
The place is old and perhaps this is a vattagio because it manages to better render the typical American atmosphere that is sought by the tourist in this situation, just a pity that the tables are too close together and it is often difficult to feel good, but if you are lucky they put you in the sofas and there it is quite another thing.
The breakfast menus are very varied and complete: from sweet to savory, it ranges in everything, we tasted scrambled eggs with a sausage and pancakes with maple syrup and it was all very good. Clearly all accompanied by liters of American coffee and a freshly squeezed orange juice.
Staff very kind and very helpful.
Very cheap and not tourist trap prices.
Try it, it deserves.
