Relaxing, breezy park for picnic, walking and fishing. Table and BBQ spots are available as well.
I've been a regular visitor of this park for most of my life. I love to kayak here when I'm limited on time and just want an easy trip. There's some playground equipment, picnic tables and walking paths. Watch our for ticks, as this is prime territory, as all spring woods outings are. There are bathrooms, but usually dirty. Better then none. I think the city of Albany maintains them 🤔 well. Unfortunately, a busy day there of uncaring, disrespectful, visitor's creates a mess. Good spot to bring lil folks for a few casts. Small pieces of live worms work well for pan fish. Look around on trails for turtles, frogs, birds, and many small mammals which are always around. Worth a trip if you live close, otherwise not more then a 20 minute drive.
A wonderful walking path..It is peaceful..I love the nature of this place.Welcome summer.
This was a really nice trail. I wasnt too fond of the paved section and it was a bit loud with the thru way traffic. Over all it was a great trail. I saw some ducks and geese in the water. The trail itself is very well kept. Took a few pics. It was kinda cloudy today.
Went a few more times to this trail. Added more pics.
