(November 11, 2020, 9:56 am)It’s been a number of years since my Dad, an Air Force veteran, had an extended stay at Albany Med. My Mom wanted to be with him every day and we don’t live in the Albany area. Thank God for the Fisher House! My Mom lived there for 7 weeks. It is a beautiful home, one block from Albany Med. It is well kept, clean, and secure. Twice a week volunteers came in and made baked goods for the residents. It was a family away from home for Mom. My brother and I, and my Dad were comfortable and happy knowing she was in a safe, comfortable place during my Dad’s lengthy stay. On this Veteran’s Day, I want to thank the Fisher family for these homes across the country, and for all they have done and still do for military families and veterans. ❤️
(February 3, 2020, 5:29 pm)One of the most terrific places on the planet as far as I am concerned. The place is very elegant oh, so lovely, beautiful. The sheets and bedding phenomenal as are the towels and they have a fully stacked very modern kitchen which anyone is allowed to use. The Fisher house gives great respite for those members of family that have served in the armed forces and are going through trauma. The Fisher house really helps these families that going through so much while loved ones are being treated in hospital. It is truly five star.
(February 2, 2020, 7:50 am)What a wonderful place and fine folks. The visit provided a calming and welcoming respite while my husband had major surgery and I was a wreck. I could finally relax while I was there. The domicile helped me ENORMOUSLY and I am so very grateful. Also, Fisher House is immaculate, welcoming and absolutely beautiful.
