The Lo-Fi Bar & Lounge

The decor was amazing, and the atmosphere was pretty chill and laid back. There was a diverse crowd of people there and one group was having a small party.
The service was ok. The first bartender was very monotone/dry, but as I don’t know her personally, that could just be her personality. Some might get the impression that she’s rude or standoffish, but again if you don’t know a person, you can’t make that judgment. Not every bar tender is bubbly and extra outgoing. I would def go back and I do recommend if you’re looking for something different. A total retro vibe.

A very cute place that my sister (from Milwaukee WI) and I (from Pasadena CA) discovered as we walked up Lark Street looking for a place to have a drink together. We remember vividly the gal who took care of us and an interesting couple who were sitting at the bar. Unfortunately, we did not get to explore the entire locale -- but the free jukebox and the interesting conversations were fun and memorable. As a result, we took the couple's suggestions about visiting Troy and stopping by the Whistling Kettle. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Retro dive with Midcentury Modern decor includes a courtyard, a sidewalk area and a free juke box. Opens at 4. As all hip cats say “Cool”.
