Unfortunately we had two deaths in our immediate family within one year. We used McVeigh for both services. Dave and staff (especially Betsy) were so kind, accommodating and caring. Kristin did a fabulous job of making my mother-in-law look like herself, before she got sick, and everyone who came commented on that. We can’t thank them enough for making an extremely difficult time, a little easier.

My sister passed away in Albany where none of our family lives so we relied on reviews to find McVeigh Funeral Home. Brian was professional, helpful, thoughtful and efficient in helping us through this difficult process. Expenses were reasonable and they were kind enough to individually send death certificates direct to each person who needed one. The coordination and execution of the various funeral services and components was faultless and carried out with utmost professionalism and understanding. Planning a funeral is often an emotional and painful experience as details and logistics need to be taken care of while coping with the loss of a loved one. McVeigh’s Funeral Home recently assisted with the arrangements of a beloved family member.
