Lesson was terrific, learned a bunch I did not know about the hoops a pilot has to jump through to make sure the aircraft is airworthy. Instructor was patient, friendly, and knew his stuff and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I wish the flying time had been a little longer, but overall a great experience.

Learning to fly was a dream of mine since I was 5 years old lying in the driveway watching planes come in to land at the airport in Montreal. From the moment Chris took me for my discovery flight until my private pilot check ride I felt supported by staff and fellow students at Hewison. As a woman it can be intimidating to get into aviation as there are so few us but I didn’t feel like it was an issue at all. My instructor Brad was awesome and treated me like everyone else. I will always be grateful to this group of people who helped me realize my dream. If you are thinking about getting your private pilot license I highly recommend Hewison Aviation.

Hewison Aviation is an excellent business to go to if one is interested in learning how to fly. The instructors are nice, clearly communicate what to do while in the air, and they tell you what to expect while on the ground before the lesson begins. The aircraft themselves are very well maintained with standard instrumentation and handle appropriately in the air. If you have time and are interested, go ahead and schedule an intro flight. Heard great things about Hewison Aviation from a friend, so I called up - thought I'd take a few lessons to help get over my fear of flying. Well, 18 months and 8 days since my intro-flight, I have my pilots license, I'm working on my instrument rating and I just bought my own plane. Great instruction. Well maintained airplanes. Hewison Aviation - A fantastic place to learn how to fly!

Adam and Chris went above and beyond to make sure I was ready to achieve my goal of my Solo on my 16th Birthday. It has been a pleasure to work with Hewison Aviation over the past year and I would recommend them to anyone interested in flying.
