I came to Sandy with unreal pain in my neck and shoulders from computer work and work as a home health aide. I was skeptical about acupuncture but heard it had worked well for others. Working with Sandy exceeded all expectations. She scheduled an online consultation prior to working together so that she could assess whether it would be a good fit, and this made me feel at ease about her cautionary practice during COVID. Her office was clean and friendly and met all COVID protocols, and even though I was a little nervous about acupuncture she made me feel at ease throughout the process. Using a combination of acupuncture and Gua Sha (I hadn't heard about it before, but wow, such a cool technique) she treated me from a whole-body approach. Massage, yoga, stretching, physical therapy--nothing has helped me in the way that Sandy's methods did--truly a life-changing experience in terms of my loss of pain and ability to feel hopeful about my body's abilities once again. I have been a patient of Sandy's for over 12 years. She has helped me with a host of ailments such as headaches, injuries and gallbladder surgery recovery. Most recently I have been seeing Sandy for knots in my neck/shoulder area that were causing me so much pain and discomfort. I was experiencing weakness/tingling in my arm and hand from the tightness in my neck shoulder area. Treatments have involved Gua Sha to break up the knots combined with acupuncture.
