  This store is such a hidden gem. The husband and wife who own the shop are some of the kindest and most accommodating people you will ever come across. They both have such an extensive knowledge about all of their products and they are very mindful about having top quality products. The prices are also beyond amazing here. I have been vegan for almost 6 years and this is probably my favorite store to find goodies at. A big thank you to the owners for all their efforts to provide healthy food with clean ingredients to our area. You are so appreciated and I always look forward to shopping with you.

  Everytime I have visited this establishment, these fine people took care of me. Abdul Bari is knowledgeable and kind. He takes the time to listen and address concerns. Amjad practiced the same care with me. I will come again! Thank you!

  Bari at Uncle Sam’s Health Food store is the piece to my healing that has always been missing. Bari is patient, kind and caring. Never pushing products or selling. He has made it his mission to heal people the wholesome way. Bari has the patience of an Saint. Every day for the last two and a half weeks i have either called Bari on the phone or stopped in to one of his two locations Latham- 648 New Loudon Rd OR Troy- 77 4th St and every time i come in anxious, worrying about this that or the other thing and Bari instantly calms my worries and assures me we are on the right path. I have been on a prescription for everything in my life and i just couldn’t take the side affects any more and wanted to heal truly and wholesomely. Nowadays doctors just write you a prescription and rush you out of their office. I was on pharmaceuticals for sleep and constipation and i would not be able to get to the root cause of my issues without Bari’s expertise and genuine care and concern. His products are finally HEALING me. Not masking the root cause with a “quick fix. “ Bari has gone above and beyond and shown me care and concern i couldn’t have ever imagined would come from a perfect stranger. Bari is a Godsend and I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart to have him on my healing journey.

  My wife Teri and I have been purchasing quality supplements at the Latham Store for over three years. Mr. Bari and Amjad have saved my life through their knowledge, expertise, and passionate desire for helping people get well with so many health issues and diseases. In my case, heart disease, Ulcerative colitis, high Cholesterol, sinus issues. where medicine wasn't getting to the root of the problem, Mr. Bari's expertise in natural healing with herbs and supplements did, and have brought and are bringing healing and wholeness to my life.. I have excellent doctors in my life , but Mr. Bari's knowledge exceeds them all when it comes to getting to the real issue of why you're sick. In this day and age doctors give a chemical pill for every little ache and pain, which can cause all kinds of health issues, even death. God gave us these natural ways of healing our body that are from the beginning of time, and used for thousands of years to heal the body. In fact, many are in the Holy Bible.
