Duck Donuts

They offer a variety of different donuts. All ring donuts, that have some sort of icing, topping and drizzle. You can even customize them yourself. The toppings are added fresh after you order and they taste delicious. Pictured is the sunrise donut that has lemon frosting and raspberry drizzle over the top.

Went to Duck Donuts today for the very first time. The employee who assisted me was great! The store was empty when I arrived she so showed me a menu, showed me where I could watch my donuts be freshly made right in front of me, and familiarized me with their other menu options (including coffee's and donut sundaes). I asked what the most popular donut was and she said the Maple Bacon Donut, so that what's I went with. I decided to also try the Midnight Madness Donut. The donuts were made fresh to order, placed in a box, and given to me nice and warm! Needless to say, the Maple Bacon Donut was amazing! 10/10! The sweet maple glaze and with savory salty bacon is a wonderful pairing. The donut itself is more like a cake, especially since it's warm, fluffy, and moist. The Mighnight Madness Donut on the other hand, was not so great. Something about it had a burnt taste. I didn't bother to finish the donut after the first couple of bites. I will definitely be back in the future to try other items on the menu.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this one is yelling "Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum!" about a million times over. Duck donuts is not just an experience for the mouth, it's an experience of the eyes and the senses. When we first walked in, we were greeted by the owner who was working the front and immediately we started smiling as he was making jokes and suggesting donuts for us. As you're looking over the menu board, your senses are inundated with the pictures of the donuts in front of you on the menu and on the boards. As you're choosing your donuts, you can hear the cooks making the donuts off to your side as they shake the sprinkle containers, laugh, and call the name of the person whose order is ready. After picking 14 donuts ranging from a cinnamon sugar to dirt dessert, We walked over and watched the donut artist perform their artistry. Unlike some places whose donuts are a far cry from the photos that you see on the menu board in front of you, let me tell you one thing, these donuts are as pretty as a picture, as you can tell since I took a photo. My family and I love these donuts and this store. They don't only sell donuts. They sell milkshakes, which come highly recommended by two members of my family and breakfast sandwiches which I would eat everyday if I could. They also sell really neat merchandise in which my daughter has two of the ducks and I will have a purple donut guy hanging off the monitor of my computer at work.
In conclusion, if you have not tried this wonderful donut place because you think it's only donuts and one donut place is just like the others, you are sadly mistaken. This place is absolutely fantastic and is definitely worth a try because you will be coming back and finding yourself waving at the pink car that quacks.

These donuts are delicious! And fresh! They make the donuts right there so you always get fresh ones and not stale old ones that have been sitting there all day.

The staff was very friendly and made sure we were happy with the donuts before we left.

Stopped by on a Thursday evening after having dinner next door and thought we might get a donut for dessert. I tried to get in but the doors were locked and I realized that they had closed for the day. The owner, Dave, came outside and I explained that I hadn't realized they were closed. He was super friendly and offered donuts from an order that hadn't been picked up in exchange for an honest review and I accepted. I thought we were just going to get a couple donuts, but Dave gave me a box with an assorted dozen so we got to try a whole bunch of different flavors. After heating the donuts up in the microwave for the recommended 8-10 seconds we found them to be nice and light, perfectly warm, and tasty. The lightness made it so we could eat four the first night and we continued to eat the rest over the next few days, wrapping the box in a bag to help keep them fresher. Even the last ones we ate today were good, three days later! My favorites were the maple bacon (with plenty of real bacon on it!) and the peanut butter with chocolate drizzle. Next time it might be fun to design our own creations. Stop by and give them a try!
