Build-A-Bear Workshop

I went to the build a bare workshop at the Crossgates mall today with my five year old daughter. My little girl had the best experience ever, the “ bear stuffer” “Jacob” was so polite and kind & caring. I wanted to wish him and the rest of the staff a grateful thank you. I will be back even for myself :)

I had a super fun time at build a bear!! This is the bear I made!! I put Cardi b’s voice singing I don’t cook I don’t clean in it!! It’s perfect!!! Thank you build a bear for an amazing experience as always!!!!

I love this place and I love how much fun my son has creating the stuffed animal. It is a little frustrating how much all the add-ons are and how expensive it all adds up to be so quickly. We went in intending to get the $12 birthday bear but of course there was a much nicer one that our son wanted and when all was said and done we left with $80 having been spent. The bear and all of the clothes and accessories for it are absolutely adorable so in the end I would say it's worth it I just wish their accessories weren't quite so expensive.

This was a splurge for us to take the all the kids from 1 to 14, but it was enjoyed by all. In preparation for the visit we walked through the process of making the bear including the add-ons and clothing and accessories. I gave each kid a budget so they could make trade-offs between adding something to the inside of the bear or the outside. One kid chose a very cool sound, recorded it multiple times to get it just right, and had it inserted only to find out the sound was very quiet. He was disappointed with that since he used some of his budgeted money and didn't get what he was expecting. Tip: Test out the sound when they put it on the recording device before its inserted. Giving a budget avoided the inevitable begging at every point along the way. And they pick out the items that are really meaningful to them. Overall a great (although pricey) experience.

Great location with really friendly staff. For the most part the entire store was squeaky clean.

The staff really did make it a great build a bear experience and our little one left with a smile on her face and of course a bear.

We will definitely visit again if and when we need to build another bear.
