Dave's Hot Chicken

First time visiting Dave's Hot Chicken. Food was a little pricey but fulfilling. The restaurant looked immaculate, and service was fairly quick and friendly. Tried the 2 sliders and fries combo. It was delicious. I can see why there might be a little wait for your food, but you can't rush food this good.

I absolutely love this new fast-casual spot! Two visits in just over 2 weeks and both experiences were great. The first time around, I ordered at the restaurant, expecting a wait. I was there about 20 minutes, which was a little longer than expected for 1 meal, but not too bad. The 2nd time I ordered ahead online and it was ready when I arrived.

Macaroni and cheese is terrific, both the slider and the tender were excellent. I have ordered, will be bumping up my heat choice next time. Can't wait for the milkshakes to start up soon!

Service is also wonderful. Staff is so friendly and kind, it feels like a throwback to another time.

A must visit.

Wasn't sure what to expect since they just opened but honestly the food was fantastic. Crispy + delicious chicken, medium was perfect spice level, lots of pickles and kale slaw. About a 30 min wait start to finish on a Tuesday night with a line out the door and every table full.

Mind blowing, great attentive staff. They kept the dining area clean, there’s always someone walking around and talking. Atmosphere and food is amazing! I don’t understand how people are complaining about the price point as halaal chicken is higher quality and the tenders are huge!

We had Dave’s in LA and have been hoping forever for them to open one up in Albany. Everything from top to bottom was awesome. The classic Dave’s decor with a little Albany thrown in there. All of the staff there were super friendly and helpful even though it was opening day and completely chaotic. We got a slider and a tender each. Both were still as good as I remembered and delicious. And the best part of it all is of course that’s it’s halal!
