(August 27, 2021, 7:41 pm)Have been going since I was very little and it always brings me joy! There are plenty of different food and drink vendors, rides, and different kinds of fun and entertainment here. Definitely is a must go!
(August 21, 2021, 11:56 am)We enjoyed this year's fair. There weren't as many attractions going on or enough food vendors but what we got was great. I hope next year will be better again.

(August 17, 2018, 11:26 am)The Altamont Fair is a historical event which is held in the village of Altamont, NY. This Fair dwarfs that of Schaghticoke and other surrounding fairs, and is a great experience for all ages. It seems that year after year this never loses popularity, and there is plenty of entertainment despite what appears to be decreased interest in such events these days. If crowds are not your thing (which includes myself), heading to the fair during the week or after dark will be a pleasant experience, as it is not nearly as busy during the popular weekend hours. Entertainment, food, rides and vendors are plenty, no one is pushy, and there is a lot to be learned and fun to be had. I highly recommend this to everyone.
