  We went for the first time last night for a cooking class. It was awesome, fun and tasty! The demonstrations were very informative and we also enjoyed the hands on part. The chef answered all our questions and made it a fun class. Excited to go again and try the new recipes we learned at home!

  We were introduced to Chef Gio by our realtor who gave us a gift certificate here as our closing gift. So far we have had 3 dining experiences total (two cooking classes and one chef's table) with Chef Gio and they have all been great date nights for us. We recently recreated the cantucci at home as well as steak, garlic, & potatoes. So delicious! I can't wait to go back for our next dining experience!

  I just completed my second class with Chef Gio, approximately 3 years apart (silly covid). Both classes he provided print outs of ingredients and measurements. It is up to you to take the notes so you best remember. He provides all the ingredients and walks you through a fairly hands on class. Usually throughout the course, you are able to sample what you are making. Both times Chef Gio was beyond helpful to everyones experience level and even answers emails about the class afterwards. We have already signed up for another class and look forward to recreating what we have already learned.

  I just completed 2 classes at Gio Culinary Studio, and I cannot express how much I loved them both. I consider myself a pretty good cook, but I still learned so much. Chef Gio is clearly a very well-trained and highly-skilled chef, but that is only the start. He is also personality-plus, and an outstanding teacher, who explains everything really well, answers all questions comprehensively, and really engages with all participants in a way that shows he really wants his students to learn and increase their skills. The classes are very informative and entertaining, and all of the foods prepared were incredibly delicious, with huge portions to sample. I will be taking many more classes with Chef Gio, and can’t wait to bring friends and family with me to the studio. Gio Culinary Studio is a real gem in the Capital District, and for all foodies out there, this is a great place to go for a fun night out, and/or a most excellent gift. Thank you Chef Gio!

  So far I've taken 2 classes and I will definitely be adding more in the coming year. Chef Gio is very knowledgeable, engaging, friendly and funny. Ive learned a lot and have had a great time doing it! Plus the food has been delicious each time, so that's an added bonus!
