(January 18, 2023, 7:23 pm)Excellent small preserve. We went during the winter and there was lots of great stuff to see. The trails had some debris on them, that would be typical for a winter hike. We saw evidence of beaver and large birds of prey.
(September 13, 2021, 2:22 pm)Beautiful preserve. Didn’t get to walk the trail as the recent rains caused the swamp to cover the trail no did see the red maroons for a trail, though.
Google maps directions do not get one to the ‘main’ entrance. The entrance is on Rt404 where it’s called ‘bear swamp road.’
