Great farm stand, well stocked with a variety of organic produce and meat, as well as local artisan goods. Unique items included sea salt, coffee, loose leaf tea, jewelry, honey, salves, chicken feet dog treats, and more!
I recently ordered beef from Eight Mile Creek Farm and it's delicious! Good prices and very friendly service. They do both shipping and pickup. I definitely recommend 👍👍
I cannot tell you how amazed and pleased I am with this business! Pam the Owner is absolutely the kindest person who is extremely knowledgeable about the importance of organic produce and meats! The food is presented lovely and she even threw in a hand written recipe for me for the bone broth!
The meat came packaged perfectly, neatly and very cold with PLENTY of cold packs inside an extremely FOOD PREPPED thickly lining box (not cheap to use such lining!). The grade of this meat is nothing short of EXCELLENT. I do not think I will ever go to a supermarket again after coming across this family owned and family run establishment. Organic is so important to me and love for an animal is as well. One day, I hope to make a trip to the farm when the weather gets nicer to meet Pam in person. I am so grateful that I found a new place to get my organic food from!! Thank you Pam and everyone at Eight Mile !!
Her vegetables, meats and award-winning eggs are over-the-top! Pam is a master at growing in a “clean” and sustainable way, and her products are so rich in flavor that you know what you’re eating is also highly nutritious. I have been asked when serving her ground beef in burger -form, “ Where do you get this meat?!” Eight Mile Creek is a source of the finest, if that’s what you’re looking for.
We have been buying our food from Pam through the Peekskill Farmers Market for over two years and are extremely happy with her. She also serves the Albany area through local deliveries and operates her farm year round. Her farm produces beef, eggs, chicken, pork and many types of vegetables. All of which are USDA certified organic and are far superior to anything that you would find elsewhere. Pam has a background as a nutritionist and started her farm to grow the best organic food possible after seeing that people were becoming sick after a lifetime of poor nutrition. She also posts recipes on her website which we found to be very helpful. With all the misinformation out there, It is important to know where your food comes from and support local farmer you can trust.
